Brian SMith

Brian joined the Foundry Orthopedics & Sports Medicine Team in 2015.  He graduated from Washington State University in Pullman, WA in 2007 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree.  Following his undergraduate studies, he went to Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA where he earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012.  Brian is a Certified Functional Dry Needling level 1 practitioner through Kinetacore, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, certified Kinesiotape level 1 and 2, and certified Functional Movement Screen level 1.  He is also a certified Schwinn Indoor Cycling instructor and qualified in TRX suspension training and Sports Medicine.

Brian has been participating in continuing education through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) that has included cervical and lumbo-pelvic treatment interventions.  His primary clinical interests are treating running and sport-related injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and performance enhancement.

For a procedure that is supposed to take up to a year for full recovery, I was back to work and doing everyday tasks after 12 weeks and no longer going to physical therapy by Week 16. Just amazing.
