Vicki Moitoso, OTR/L, CHT

Certified Hand Therapist

Vicki received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York in 2000. She passed her Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) exam in May of 2009.

Her clinical areas of interest include traumatic and repetitive stress injuries to the upper extremity,   post-operative rehabilitation of the elbow, hand, and wrist, manual therapy, splinting, and sports medicine.

Vicki has completed extensive continuing education coursework in hand therapy, wound care, manual lymph drainage techniques of the upper extremity, diagnostic techniques and rehabilitation of wrist, joint mobilization of the upper extremity, immobilization and mobilization splinting, work-related repetitive stress injuries of the upper extremity, and ergonomics.

She has been a clinical instructor to both Occupational Therapy Assistants and Occupational Therapy students during their level 1 and level 2 clinical affiliations for over ten years. Throughout her career Victoria has treated patients in a variety of settings including both Inpatient and Outpatient Hospital settings, Work Hardening programs, and Outpatient Hand Therapy clinics. Victoria believes to taking a patient-centered approach to treatment working with her patients to achieve their personal treatment goals and returning them to their prior level of hand function.
