Our orthopedic providers coordinate with our surgeons, physical therapists, and athletic trainers to form a seamless team dedicated to rebuilding each patient quickly and completely.

Jodi received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Worcester State College in Worcester, Massachusetts in 1995.  She became a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) in 2007.  While at Worcester State College, Jodi played on both the field hockey and softball teams.   

Jodi is a licensed occupational therapist in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  Her clinical areas of interest include the treatment of traumatic hand injuries, post-operative rehabilitation of the elbow, hand, and wrist, manual therapy, splinting, and sports medicine.

Jodi has worked in a wide variety of clinical settings during her 16 year career as an Occupational Therapist including acute inpatient care, homecare, serving on the burn team at two Level 1 trauma centers, and most recently as a clinical specialist for hand therapy in the outpatient clinic at the Miriam Hospital.   While at the Miriam Hospital, Jodi also served as the Clinical Coordinator of Education and was responsible for the coordination, oversight, and evaluation of all physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech students.  She has been a clinical instructor to both Occupational Therapy  Assistants and Occupational Therapy students during their level 1 and level 2 clinical affiliations for over ten years.

Jodi has completed extensive continuing education coursework including; advanced splinting techniques, kinesio taping for the upper extremity, therapeutic modalities,  wound care, diagnostic techniques and rehabilitation of the wrist and hand, ergonomic assessment, orthopedic assessment and mobilization of the upper extremity, and myofascial release.
