Staff Physical Therapist

Gary joined Foundry Sports Medicine and Fitness in July of 2010.

Gary gained his B.S. in Health Science in 2004, M.S. in Physical Therapy in 2005 and Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy in 2008.  All three degrees were achieved at Husson College in Bangor, ME.
While in college Gary competed in Division III lacrosse, baseball and football. Gary passed his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) exam in December of 2008. His areas of clinical interest and specialties include sports-related injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, shoulder, knee and ankle rehabilitation and biomechanics, manual therapy techniques (Kaltenborn, Maitland, McKenzie, Mulligan, and Gray) and athletic taping and kineso-taping techniques.

Continuing education coursework Gary has taken include the following presenters:  Kevin Wilk, George Davies, Gary Gray, Brian Mulligan, Mike Reinhold, and others.  Coursework he has taken included the ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine.    

Gary has served as a clinical instructor for students while on their clinical affiliations over the last five years.  He has treated everyone from professional athletes to pediatrics.  Gary has provided physical therapy services for UCONN’s men rugby, Holy Cross Men’s Rugby and for Woodstock Academy High School Athletes.  Gary has worked in various settings throughout the Northeast and has experience with many complex orthopedic cases from many of the top orthopedics in sports medicine.
