Jessica holds an A.A.S degree in physical therapy and is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated from the Community College of RI in 2012 where she became an inductee of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society. While completing her education, Jessica worked as a physical therapy aide in local outpatient physical therapy clinics.
Jessica holds a Certification in Applied Functional Sciencethrough the Gray Institute, and her major treatment focus is geared towards functional based exercises that incorporate tri-planar movements. Utilizing a "ground up” approach to her treatments, Jessica not only looks at the specific body part for which you are being treated, but the entire body as a whole. Her clinical interests include manual therapy, post-operative therapy, sports related injuries, and biomechanics of the lower extremity specifically the ankle and foot.
While working at Foundry, Jessica plans on becoming a certified pedorthist. She also hopes to pursue her doctorate in physical therapy in the future.
