Physical Thearpy Providence

Whether you finally went to see your doctor about that nagging shoulder pain, or you were playing high school basketball and sprained your ankle, you will likely be referred by your orthopedist to physical therapy to start treatment.  What happens when I go to physical therapy?  My name is Matthew Kinne PT, MSPT, OCS and I am the Director of Rehabilitation at Foundry Sports Medicine and Fitness, and I am going to help answer that question.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

I wasn’t quite sure what I should write about for our first blog entry.  But after much consideration, I decided to write about carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) – one of the most common maladies I see.  One of the reasons I write this blog is because I do see a fair number of patients who have ignored their symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome for far too long.  As such, if one waits too long, they may never be back to normal again.  Consequently I write this blog to educate patients about carpal tunnel syndrome – symptoms, treatment and expected outcome.
