In Memoriam (1961 - 2009)

The team at Foundry Sports Medicine and Fitness is devastated by the unexpected death of our founder, Dr. Michael Wiggins. As many of you are aware, Dr. Wiggins passed away while on vacation with his family in Breckenridge, Colorado on April 8, 2009.

Seven years ago, Dr. Wiggins realized his dream to create one of the most unique and sought-after sports medicine practices in the country. His holistic approach to total body health and fitness is reflected in the uplifting, inspiring atmosphere that surrounds patients and their families as they recover from injuries at our Providence facility. His painstaking renovation of an old foundry in Providence mirrored his approach to patient care. He recognized the true beauty underneath and worked to restore it to its full promise and potential.

Our hearts and prayers go out to his wife, Doreen and their five children: Steven, Brenden, Kai, Olivia, and Jade. The outpouring of support and sympathy we have received from so many of you means more than we can say.
