Kenneth Furcolo, PA-C

Ken earned his Physician Assistant at the Bowman Gray School of Medicine of Wake Forest University. There he received the James Wilson Award for outstanding academic achievement in his class.

Ken has over 20 years experience in all aspects of general orthopedic medicine. He has had hospital privileges at The Miriam Hospital, South County Hospital and Roger Williams Medical Center.

Ken and Dr. Michael Wiggins worked closely together in operative and nonoperative sports medicine for over 10 years caring for the recreational, high school and collegiate athlete.

Ken has been a longtime competitive recreational runner of all distances from local 5K runs to marathons. His particular interests are running and triathlete related overuse injuries.

Ken will completely evaluate and formulate a treatment plan for his patients. He has full access to the physician staff at Foundry Orthopedics & Sports Medicine. His goal is to help his patients return to full activity as quickly as possible.
